These two are a perfect example of why our blue and odd-eyed cats are so special. True blue eyes on solid colors and naturally occurring odd eyes are incredibly rare and require years of careful, ethical breeding to preserve health, structure, and temperament.

What you’re seeing here isn’t luck.

It’s generations of patience, testing, and choosing quality over quantity every single time.

Why Our Blue & Odd-Eyed Cats Are So Special

I’ve always been drawn to what is rare and uncommon. When I first discovered solid-colored cats with true blue eyes in 2017, I became completely captivated. Unlike pointed cats, where blue eyes are expected, solid cats with blue or odd eyes are the result of rare genetic mutations that must be handled with extreme care.

In 2018, I imported my first blue-eyed cat from Russia. Unfortunately, she arrived with serious health challenges. After extensive veterinary work and collaboration with the breeder, we made the ethical decision to spay her and put our breeding goals on hold. Health always comes first.

Two years later, we were introduced to Rano Makarenko, a respected pioneer behind several naturally occurring blue-eye mutations. Her cats were accepted into TICA’s registry as experimental, marking the beginning of a new chapter in feline genetics.

In 2020, we welcomed ICE PEAK, our first blue-eyed foundation cat, registered as F1 (first generation). From that moment on, we committed to a slow, intentional, and highly selective program.

Rather than producing many kittens, we kept only one kitten per generation, waiting 15 months or longer before carefully pairing them with another exceptional cat. Every generation underwent health testing, and only cats with outstanding structure, temperament, and vitality were bred forward.

The cats pictured here represent F5 generation meaning this line is no longer experimental. They are fully established pedigree blue and odd-eyed cats, the result of years of thoughtful planning and dedication.

Last month, our odd-eyed folded boy Morsel was bred to our torbie girl Apple, resulting in our first F6 kitten a milestone we are incredibly proud of.

From this point forward, generations no longer need to be counted for pedigree purposes, but our standards will never change.

We choose quality over quantity, always.

We breed only a few times per year, despite having multiple queens, because every cat is treated as a beloved family member. No cat is bred past the age of four, and health and happiness remain our top priorities.

These cats are not just rare they are deeply respected, intentionally bred, and truly cherished.
